The needs of our skin are largely determined by our skin type, the climate in which we live and our age. This time we’ll talk about skin care at different stages of life.

Skin care at different stages of life

The following is a general guide but depending on the condition of your skin may vary. Chronological age is not necessarily the age of your skin. A person who smokes while being young is likely to have the skin 10 years older than chronological age is.

At any time the basic principle is the same skin care: cleansing, exfoliation, moisturizer and a new element: sunscreen.

  • Cleaning may include cream or liquid cleaner (soap in some cases) and tonic. The tonic is not essential to most but it is desirable cleaning and leaves a pleasant fresh sensation. The cleaning also includes purifying respirators that are recommended depending on your type of skin once or twice a week for oily and every two weeks for normal or dry skin.
  • Exfoliation is the process of removing dead cells and help the skin look smoother.Whether Moisturizers creams, masks or any other form are important to keep our skin youthful longer.
  • Sun Protection The sun is the cause of many of our problems in the skin from premature aging spots up and skin cancer. The sun protection should begin as soon as we become aware of the care of our appearance. The sunscreen is as insurance against premature wrinkles and blemishes.

With this in mind let’s see how the routine changes with age and always remember that beauty changes but never disappears.
